Evaluate the symptomatic improvement in patients with lactose intolerance after eight weeks of treatment with probiotic I3.1 (Lactobacillus plantarum CECT7484, Lactobacillus plantarum CECT7485, Pediococcus acidilactici CECT7483).

Main Research Findings:

The results of the study show that the probiotic I3.1 is safe and showed significant improvement in the symptom of flatulence and the overall symptomatic perception after provocation test with lactose, in patients with severe symptoms.
